“I guess being brought up with that condition I’ve developed a thick skin to adversity and how to overcome this stuff. Being the only professional athlete playing a contact sport with Cystic Fibrosis I can help people by not only raising awareness but also be a symbol of hope to not only people with CF but also people struggling with adversity, when adversity’s in your face, don’t sit down but stand up”

My special guest is Nathan Charles. Nathan currently is a professional Rugby Union player for Wasps in the UK. He previously played for the Western Force and is capped 4 times for the Wallabies. Amazingly he is the only professional athlete in the world playing a contact sport with Cystic Fibrosis.

You will learn plenty about Nathan Charles in episode 45 of Talking with TK.
