ADRIAN VOWLES
Adrian Vowles is a former professional rugby league player who played in both the NRL and Super League in England. He debuted at the Gold Coast Seagulls where he would earn representative honours for Queensland in the 1994 State of Origin series before he moved to the Cowboys in 1995. He achieved a huge amount in the English Super League where he joined the Castleford Tigers in 1997 and was an integral part of the club moving from a relegation club to a playoff team and in the process won the 1999 Man of Steel which is the equivalent to our Dally M Medal in Australia. His time in England also included stints at both Leeds and Wakefield while also representing Scotland at the 2000 World Cup.
